Safe Indeed

Many years ago while vacationing with my husband and children, I memorized Psalm 34. I remember questioning God why I needed to memorize this particular Psalm, but did so anyways. As I reflect over my life of 52 years, I can clearly see why this Psalm was impressed on my heart so long ago.

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their cry; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The Lord will rescue His servants; no one who takes refuge in Him will be condemned. Psalm 34:15-18,22

Heavenly Father, there really is safety and security for those who trust in You. I trust Your sovereignty, Your providence, and Your will for my life. It’s no wonder I praise Your Name because You are Who You say You are!!! Amen

How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103
