Eve Windshield Wipers

For someone who’s been taught to hold their emotions inside, I’ve learned this isn’t necessarily healthy. In life, we experience seasons. For me, this is a season of tears. And those tears flow freely; especially during my daily walks. The Holy Spirit gently reminds me that “He keeps track of all my sorrows. He has collected all my tears in His bottle. He has recorded each one in His book.” Psalm 56:8 And also, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” Psalm 34:18-19

Father God, if there were such as thing as ‘eye windshield wipers,’ mine would be working overtime right now. However, I thank You for this season of sorrow. You are working diligently in ways human eyes cannot see. Someday, the work You are doing now will be revealed for all to see. And all who see it will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You did it. I trust You. Amen.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and in due time, He will lift you up. James 4:10
