Recently, I was faced with a tough situation that required an even tougher decision. Much prayer, fasting and quiet time before my heavenly Father went into my decision making. As I attended Bible study that week, the topic we studied was in the book written by Matthew.

Don’t be bluffed into silence by the threats of bullies. There’s nothing they can do to your soul, your core being. Save your fear for God, Who holds your entire life--body and soul--in His Hands. Matthew 10:28 (The Message)

I made a decision with my Father’s help to move forward in the knowledge that the Lord goes before me and fights on my behalf for His Namesake.

Heavenly Father, every decision I make has consequences. I trust You to guide and direct my path. You give wisdom and discernment to those who ask in faith. Your faithfulness is my shield and rampart (Psalm 91:4) I trust You with my whole heart. Amen.

The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress and my Deliverer; my God is my Rock, in Whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. Psalm 18:2
