Did you know that as a Jesus follower, He’s beside us every step of the way? Nothing
takes Him by surprise. He never abandons, forsakes, condemns, or leaves; no matter
what season of life or mess we find ourselves in. We may stumble at times and fall, but
not for long. He helps us get back up on our feet; not eight or nine times out of ten, but
ten times out of ten!
He’s famous for going after the one. He’ll leave the ninety-nine that are safe and go
after the one that is in danger. The lost coin, the lost sheep, the lost son. (Luke 15)
Jesus is very clear about His Heart and what it means to be His follower.
Jesus is famous for rescuing His sons and daughters; with or without human help. He
specializes in taking people and situations that are horrendously ugly and turning them
into something indescribably beautiful. That’s why in the New Testament, the people He
healed leaped for joy and couldn’t hold back when telling others what Jesus had done
for them.
Heavenly Father, You are the Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in the
Darkness, My God that is Who You are! (Osinachi Okoro) You relentlessly pursue our
hearts and minds. O, that we may respond to Your invitation! May we continue sharing
our stories and experiences with our neighbors. May they see Your supernatural Power
and Hand at work here on this earth as it already is in heaven. In Jesus‘ Name. Amen.
Now to the One who is able to keep you from falling, and to cause you to stand,
rejoicing, without blemish before His glorious Presence, to the only God our
Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, power, and authority,
before all time, and now, and for all eternity. Amen.
