I’d just walked the hotel grounds and admired a small horse ranch with a rolling river running right through the middle of the property. The sun was coming up and it was going to be another gorgeous day. My son and I were traveling west and the United States of America’s landscape took my breath away. Words and photos cannot describe the beauty we feasted on.
As I praised God for His gorgeous creation, I spotted a white suburban with a bumper sticker that read: “You were worth dying for. Love, Jesus.” And then the tears came. Joy bubbled up inside my heart because I was reminded yet again how much Jesus loves me. He gave His life so I may live. Really live.
I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security). The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. John 10:9-10 AMP
Jesus, Your Love knows no bounds. It’s not cheap, fake or destructive. You are Who You say You are. There is only light in You and Your Light pierces the darkness. “Your Love never fails, it never gives up, it never runs out on me!” (Sparrow Records. Jesus Culture. 2015) I love You because You first loved me. Amen.
I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His [own] life for the sheep. John 10:11
