Trust Me

“Trust Me and don’t be afraid. Many things feel out of control. Your routines are not running smoothly. You tend to feel more secure when your life is predictable.” Young, S. (2013). Jesus Calling (p. 110). Thomas Nelson Publishing

Isn’t that the truth! In these unpredictable and shaky times, where do we take refuge? If my core foundation is built on anything but solid rock, then; when tested; it will crumble to useless pieces.

Sarah Young continues writing: “When you are shaken out of your comfortable routines, My hand tightly and look for growth opportunities. Say yes to the ways I work in your life. Trust Me, and don’t be afraid.” (2013). Jesus Calling (p. 110). Thomas Nelson Publishing

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, true freedom.) And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from (one degree of) glory (even more) glory, which comes from the Lord, (Who is) the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP)

Lord Jesus, life as we knew it has been turned upside down because of circumstances way out of our control. It is a tough season. And yet, You will and are bringing good out of this pandemic as You weave Your Truth in the hearts and minds of those who are Yours. Even those people who don’t know it yet! Years ago, Your Spirit asked me, “Lisa, do you trust Me?” Yes, I do!

Behold, God, my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord God is my strength and my song; Yes, He has become my salvation. (Isaiah 12:2 AMP)
