Recently, while praying in the wee hours of the morning, I heard a noise at 2:30 AM. It was a bird singing right outside my window. It was peculiar because the sunrise wasn’t coming up for another four hours or so. It reminded me once again, that no matter what; the sun still rises. Every day. Without fail.
The sunrise often reminds me of a dear friend who shared that after one of the most difficult nights of her life, she looked out the window and saw the sun rising. She sensed the Holy Spirit speaking, reminding her, “I’M STILL HERE.”
But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. Malachi 4:2
Heavenly Father (Abba), my sweet sister often prays saying, “Thank You for the sun today and thank You for your Son. Your faithfulness is legendary. You care for and love your children deeply. Thank you for the joy that comes in the morning with the sunrise.
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. John 8:12
