I almost missed out on huge blessings and continued healing because I was scared of the unknown and worried about what people would think. Ugh! (So tired of these lies I tell myself; even though I know to walk by faith, not by sight).
Thankfully, I listened to the Holy Spirit’s prompting to step way out of my comfort zone, fly to a foreign country by myself; and write for 30 days. The story of how I got to Scotland is too long for this devotion, but, bottom line, I chose (with God’s help) to be brave and strong and listen and obey to the One Who loves me.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Father God, every day I have choices. To believe that You are Who You say You are in Your Word. That I continue to put You 1st in my heart and mind. You continue to reveal more of Yourself as I step out of my comfort zone and cling to Your promises. Amen.
Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8-9 (NLT)
