Ever since the Lord allowed my carefully constructed world to fall apart, He continues teaching me what it means to REST in Him daily. During this season, I’m responsible for more things than ever and yet, have never experienced this level of REST. Years ago, I asked Him to let me be part of His Kingdom work here on earth. Little did I know what the cost would be.

And yet, it’s the best thing that could’ve happened. His ways are not my ways; His thoughts are not my thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9) And as I cling to Him daily, I’ve never experienced such joy, peace and freedom. Be still and know that I AM GOD. Isaiah 46:10

Father God, You reveal Yourself through Your Word, the Holy Spirit, nature and circumstances. I’m figuring out that since You made everything, You’re more than capable of directing my life! I seek You daily; carving time for just You and me. I REST in You. I marvel at the things You continue to do in my life. You’ve got this. Amen.

God, my Shepherd! I don’t need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction. Psalm 23:1-3
