Recently, I grabbed a bite to eat in a sports bar and watched part of a baseball game. The pitcher kept throwing curve balls and it got me thinking. At times, life throws curve balls; “something unexpected, surprising, or disruptive.” (Merriam Webster dictionary) In this life, I've experienced more than one curveball! One thing I've learned is to trust God even when life gets bumpy. He told us to expect the unexpected. "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds..." James 1:2

Heavenly Father, no ‘life curveball’ catches you by surprise! "Friends, when life gets really difficult, don't jump to the conclusion that God isn't on the job. Instead, be glad that you were in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner. " (1 Peter 4:12-13 The Message) I take comfort in the Truth that You are the only One Who never changes (Hebrews 13:8)...in this life and the one to come! Amen.
