Great Aunt Barbie (GB) got to hold baby Emmie this week! I was told not to “hog Emmie, but let Aunt Barbie have a chance with her.” (Thank you Jetts, for keeping me in line...ha!)

As I watched Barbie hold this precious little one, I thanked our Father for the circle of life. As I looked into Emmieʼs eyes, I marveled at how God created human beings...at how much He loves us; His Creation. Then God said, "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." Genesis 1:26

Baby Emmieʼs personality is already ordained of God. Itʼs all in there! Her parentsʼ job is to nurture, guide and direct her to grow into the woman she was made to be. To help her figure out her destiny in Christ Jesus and grasp all He has prepared for her to do while here on this planet. For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10

Father God, I marvel that out of everything You created, we are Your Masterpiece. Thank You for Your gift of life! Amen.
